Picture your shift from start to finish. You arrive, gear up, and take command of a 30‑ton overhead crane using a radio remote. Before a single lift, you walk the equipment—hooks, sheet lifters, and crane components—completing thorough pre‑shift safety checks. With everything verified, you move seamlessly into the flow of the plant, relocating heavy bundles of steel and aluminum sheets and coils, staging and stacking them precisely where production needs them.

What You’ll Do

• Operate a 30‑ton overhead crane via radio remote for accurate, efficient lifts.
• Transport, stack, and stage heavy steel/aluminum bundles of sheet and coil product.
• Perform daily safety inspections on cranes, hooks, and sheet lifters before operation.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and all plant safety protocols at every step.

What You Bring

• 2–3 years of experience running high‑capacity overhead cranes in a steel environment.
• Proficiency with specialized steel lifting attachments.
• Physical capability to lift 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of crane mechanics and troubleshooting.

Schedule

1st and 2nd shift; Saturdays as needed.
