We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bread Shaper to join our dynamic team in a high-volume production kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for artisanal bread-making, with a focus on shaping and baking hearth breads to perfection. Responsibilities:
- Expertly shape and mold a variety of hearth breads, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch.
- Operate and maintain shaping equipment and tools, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members in the baking process to ensure seamless production flow.
- Follow established recipes and guidelines to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Monitor and adjust baking conditions, including temperature, humidity, and oven settings, to achieve optimal results.
- Uphold hygiene and sanitation standards to guarantee a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist in training new team members on shaping techniques and production processes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience shaping and baking hearth breads in a high-volume production kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of bread-making techniques, including fermentation, shaping, and baking.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing consistently high-quality products.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work early morning or evening shifts as required.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy trays, and perform repetitive tasks.
