Overview --------
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members, club staff, and guests.
Responsibilities ----------------
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of all areas of the club, including but not limited to: • Fitness equipment • Locker rooms • Restrooms • Common areas • Maintain cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club. • Stock and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other necessary items for the facility. • Daily completion of any itemized checklist of cleaning responsibilities as set forth by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager. • Assist with service to the members and guests when required. • Maintain friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff members and guests.
Requirements ------------
• Must be available to work between the hours of 10PM - 6AM. • Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. • Excellent time management and organizational skills to efficiently manage daily tasks and priorities. • CPRAED certification required, can be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Physical Requirements ---------------------
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50lb. • Physical effort required for daily duties include prolonged standing and walking. • Ability to bend, crouch, and reach to perform cleaning tasks in various areas of the facility.
Reporting Structure -----------------
Reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
Compensation ------------
• $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
