Overnight Dementia Caregiver Needed – White Stone, VA

Love & Loyalty Home Care is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Overnight Dementia Caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in White Stone, VA. Schedule

10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday

Consistent overnight schedule with the opportunity to build a rewarding relationship with your client.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Overnight Dementia Caregiver, you'll play an important role in helping our client remain safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing compassionate one-on-one care in the client's home

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance

• Monitoring the client's safety and well-being throughout the overnight shift

• Offering reassurance and emotional support during moments of confusion or anxiety

• Redirecting and responding calmly to dementia-related behaviors

• Assisting with transfers and ambulation as needed

• Maintaining a peaceful, comforting environment to encourage rest

• Providing companionship and engaging in simple, meaningful conversations or activities when appropriate

• Observing and reporting any changes in the client's condition to the care team

• Following the client's personalized care plan while respecting their dignity and independence

Qualifications

We're looking for caregivers who are:

• Experienced in caring for individuals with dementia (required)

• CNA licensed (preferred but not required)

• Compassionate, patient, and understanding

• Dependable and committed to providing exceptional care

• Comfortable working overnight shifts

• Excellent communicators with a positive attitude

• Able to remain calm in challenging situations

• Professional, trustworthy, and respectful

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Possess reliable transportation to White Stone, VA
