Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Pay: $21.50-$28.00/hour (based on experience and education)
Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday | 10:00 PM-10:00 AM
Holiday Requirement: Two major holidays per year (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)
Shift Differential: Applicable overnight differential

As our Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician, you'll play a critical role in patient assessment, emergency treatments, surgical support, anesthesia monitoring, diagnostics, and overnight patient care. REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE | NON-NEGOTIABLE

• 3+ years of Veterinary Technician experience preferred; other experience levels considered
• Strong animal handling and patient restraint skills
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement experience
• Knowledge of anesthesia, anesthetic monitoring, intubation, extubation, and recovery
• Medical math proficiency
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused during emergencies
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and holiday coverage requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS | NOT A DEAL BREAKER

• CVT credential
• Emergency or Urgent Care experience
• Surgical nursing experience
• Advanced anesthesia monitoring skills
• Experience with triage and emergency case management
• CPR certification or RECOVER training
• Passion for continued learning and professional growth
