The Overnight LVN ensures client safety, medical stability, and a calm therapeutic environment during overnight hours. This role includes medication administration, client monitoring, crisis response, and clear documentation, while working independently and collaborating with the treatment team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine safety checks and monitor client status
Administer medications (scheduled and PRN) and document in EMR
Monitor for withdrawal symptoms, side effects, or changes in condition
Respond to medical or psychiatric concerns and follow emergency protocols
Complete accurate, timely documentation and shift reports
Maintain a quiet, structured environment that supports rest and recovery
Communicate effectively with residential staff and incoming shift
Qualifications
Active California LVN license
Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience in behavioral health, detox, or residential care preferred
