Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Overnight Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing team in Oklahoma City. This position is responsible for operating production machinery, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment while meeting daily production goals.
The ideal candidate has previous industrial or manufacturing experience, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to producing quality work while following all safety standards.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or general labor environment
Manufacturing education and/or certifications are a plus
Ability to accurately read tape measures, angle finders, and micrometers
Understanding of decimal measurements and basic math
Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus
10-key data entry experience is a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate and monitor production machinery to meet daily production goals
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards
Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly
Complete required production records and documentation accurately
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety policies, standard operating procedures, and quality guidelines
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production needs
Perform additional production and shop duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment
Forklift certification or experience
Overhead crane experience
Experience using precision measuring instruments and production documentation systems
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Frequent lifting, bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive movements
Ability to work in varying temperatures within a manufacturing environment
Ability to safely lift and move materials as required throughout the workday
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing facility operating overnight production shifts
Fast-paced production environment with a strong focus on safety and quality
Exposure to machinery, industrial equipment, noise, and varying temperatures
