Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Permanent Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities:

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. Your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment, including PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Collaborating with other departments to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to other maintenance staff.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
  • Following safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a journeyman electrician in a manufacturing environment.
  • A valid journeyman electrician license.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
