Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Overnight Maintenance/Security professional to join our team in Arlington, VA. This position is responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and upkeep of the property during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to respond quickly to any maintenance or security issues that arise.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and respond to alarms or incidents promptly.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC troubleshooting.
• Respond to tenant or staff requests and emergencies during overnight hours.
• Maintain accurate logs of activities, incidents, and maintenance performed.
• Ensure all doors, windows, and gates are secured at the end of the shift.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Assist with snow removal, landscaping, or other property upkeep tasks as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in maintenance, security, or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
