Overnight Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Work Schedule: 12-hour overnight shifts (B Shift & D Shift)
Work Model: Onsite

About the Job:
Our client is looking for dependable Material Handlers / Forklift Operators to join the team at their East Durham, NY facility. You will help keep production running by making sure employees have the materials they need. You will move raw materials, packaging, and other products around the facility using a forklift and other equipment. This is a contract-to-possible-hire position, meaning there may be an opportunity to become a permanent employee based on your performance and the company’s needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate a forklift and other equipment to safely move materials.
• Deliver raw materials and packaging to production areas.
• Receive and put away incoming materials.
• Move finished products to the warehouse.
• Keep track of materials using a computer system.
• Enter inventory information into SAP or other warehouse systems.
• Check materials to make sure they are clean, labeled, and ready for use.
• Refill production areas when materials are running low.
• Help with inventory counts.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
• Complete daily forklift and equipment safety checks.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow all safety, quality, and company rules.
• Work with the warehouse and production teams to keep things running smoothly.

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience required.
• Warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Good attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well on your own and with a team.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, and move around the facility.
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts.
