    Exciting opportunity at MSK: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Overnight Pharmacy Technician at the main hospital campus.

    Role Overview:

    • Serve as a fully integrated member of the Pharmacy Department
    • assist the pharmacists by performing technical tasks under their direct supervision for all pediatric, adult and geriatric patients and assuring that the pharmacists have the medication and supplies necessary for executing professional responsibilities.
    • Prepare sterile, parenteral products using aseptic techniques as per department guidelines.
    • Perform drug distribution process without error (e.g., patient bin distribution, IVPB, LVP distribution to medication rooms and refrigerators, restocking Omnicell cabinets, managing returns)
    • Rotate different pharmacies, including but not limited to: UCC, PEDS, ICU, M18, AB07, Robot & R5 Clean Room

    Key Qualifications:

    • Valid NY Pharmacy Technician License
    • CPhT certification
    • Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
    • Strong computer skills and the ability to develop a good understanding of pharmacy systems.

    • Someone with a substantial understanding of computer and pharmacy systems
    • Someone with a supportive attitude toward others’ beliefs and ideas

    Additional Information:

    • Schedule: 9 shifts in 14 days; 10:00 pm – 7:00 am (may vary to meet the needs of the department), rotating weekends & holidays
    • Location: Main Hospital Campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY
    • Reports to: Pharmacy Manager

     

    Pay Range: $29.03 - $44.92

     

    FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
