Overnight Security

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable, observant, and dependable individuals to join our overnight security team. This is an entry-level position that plays an important role in maintaining the safety and security of our property during overnight hours.

The ideal candidate is someone who is responsible, able to work independently, and remains alert throughout their shift. No previous security experience is required—we are willing to train the right individuals.

Job Responsibilities

• Patrol the property on foot and/or by vehicle throughout the shift.
• Monitor buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding grounds.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or unauthorized access.
• Complete routine security rounds and maintain accurate activity logs.
• Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by notifying management or emergency services when necessary.
• Secure gates, doors, and designated areas as instructed.
• Help protect company property from theft, vandalism, or damage.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• No previous security experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work overnight 10-hour shifts.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to walk, stand, and patrol the property for extended periods.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must successfully pass a background check.

Physical Requirements

• Walk and stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Bend, stand, climb stairs, and patrol uneven terrain when necessary.
• Maintain alertness throughout the entire overnight shift.
