Summary

Park Hyatt Washington is seeking an experienced security professional to join our team as a Part-Time Overnight Security Officer II. Join us for this opportunity to be part of an elite luxury service team and discover why Hyatt has continually earned the Great Places to Work designation.

Key Responsibilities

The Part-Time Overnight Security Officer II provides for the safety and security of the hotel's guests and colleagues. This person will follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required. Weekend overnight shift availability required.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Enforces rules and policies with respect and professionalism
• Uses tactful and diplomatic communications with guests
• Resolves conflicts with the use of de-escalation techniques
• Analyzes situations accurately and implements an effective course of action
• Identifies and investigates suspicious behavior and irregular activity
• Conducts foot patrols of designated areas
• Utilizes CCTV systems for surveillance
• Responds to alarms and requests for assistance
• Responds to medical emergencies, renders aid, and relays information to EMS
• Other duties as assigned by the Security Manager

Starting Salary

Starting hourly rate of $25.00, based on experience, plus a $0.50 per hour overnight shift differential

Overnight Shift

Overnight shift availability on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 pm to 7:30 am, including holidays

Qualifications

• Sufficient strength and endurance to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Prior security experience strongly preferred
• Elevated verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
