Overnight Security

The Overnight Security Officer safeguards guests, staff, and property during overnight hours by maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access points and surveillance systems, and responding promptly to safety concerns. This role serves as a key point of contact for guest assistance and property protection across the Waterfront Campus and other CBBC-managed locations. Scope of Responsibilities

• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols across all assigned properties to ensure guest and staff safety
• Verify the integrity of security locks, alarms, and access points throughout the property
• Monitor surveillance systems and respond to incidents in real time
• Provide escort services to guests upon request
• Document observations and incidents through accurate, timely written reports
• Coordinate with Front Desk and Night Audit teams on room-related deliveries and issues
• Liaise with local law enforcement as needed to support guest and property safety
• Maintain cleanliness of designated facilities and pool area, including routine role tows

Position Type/Work Schedule Expectation

Full-time and part-time positions are available. These roles require flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Work Environment

This position operates within a professional office environment and routinely utilizes standard business equipment, including computers, telephones, copiers, and related administrative tools.

Physical Demands:

This role is primarily sedentary in nature; however, it requires the ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform routine movements such as bending, standing, and ascending or descending stairs as operationally necessary.
