Slate is a commercial cleaning company specializing in overnight and recurring janitorial services for premium client sites. We utilize standardized checklists, photo documentation, and app-based quality control to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
As an Overnight Studio Cleaner & Lead, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of boutique fitness studios across Atlanta, Buckhead, and Midtown. This position is ideal for reliable, detail-oriented individuals who thrive working independently during overnight hours and are comfortable managing logistics and supplies.
Key responsibilities include:
Deep cleaning fitness studio spaces, including equipment, floors, mirrors, restrooms, lobby, and retail areas
Taking before-and-after photos at each location and uploading them via mobile app
Following a detailed bilingual cleaning checklist to ensure thoroughness and consistency
Clocking in and out at each site using a smartphone app
Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and placing restocking orders (Lead role)
Managing cleaner attendance and coordinating same-night replacement coverage as needed (Lead role)
This role requires consistent overnight availability Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a route covering Buckhead, Madison Yards, and Midtown. You will be part of a two-person team, working approximately 12 hours per week.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
Proficiency using a smartphone and mobile app for clocking in/out and uploading photos
Reliable transportation to travel between multiple job sites on the overnight route
Available to work overnight shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
Authorized to work in the United States
Able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods (2–8 hours per shift)
Able to lift, carry, and move 25–50 lbs; frequently bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive motions; comfortable working around dust, cleaning chemicals, and in indoor/outdoor conditions; able to climb stairs and occasionally use step stools or ladders
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a lead or supervisory role, such as coordinating coverage, managing attendance, or overseeing supplies
