Overnight Wash Bay AttendantPay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Sunday through Wednesday | 4:30 PM to 4:30 AM (Overnight Shift) Penmac Staffing is seeking a dependable Overnight Wash Bay Attendant for a transportation and logistics facility in the Springfield area. This hands-on position is responsible for cleaning and preparing trucks and trailers, supporting yard operations, and helping maintain a safe and organized work environment. - High school diploma or GED preferred
- One to three months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Vehicle cleaning, detailing, housekeeping, or similar experience is a plus
- Strong work history and reliable attendance
- Ability to work overnight hours and a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to obtain forklift certification
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen
Overnight Wash Bay Attendant Responsibilities
- Operate buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment
- Use cleaning, protective, and restorative products to maintain vehicle appearance
- Clean and detail trucks and trailers to meet company standards
- Remove decals from trucks and trailers in preparation for sale
- Remove trash and debris from vehicles
- Box, inventory, store, and mail personal items left in trucks
- Remove load locks, chains, and tanker equipment
- Maintain inventory of supplies and materials
- Operate laundry facilities as needed
- Jump-start vehicles when required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety requirements
- Assist customers when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, stooping, and squatting
- Constant reaching, grasping, and hand/finger manipulation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push and pull up to 15 pounds
- Exposure to chemical odors and varying weather conditions
