A well-established retail organization is seeking an entry-level Digital Marketing Coordinator to support customer marketing campaigns across email, text messaging, push notifications, website content, and other digital channels.
This individual will assist with campaign coordination, content review, quality assurance, project tracking, and performance reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with coordinating and launching email, SMS, push notification, website, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Maintain marketing calendars, project trackers, campaign documentation, and deadlines.
- Gather promotional messaging, creative assets, product details, links, and campaign requirements from internal teams.
- Review campaigns for accuracy, including copy, images, pricing, promotional dates, links, formatting, and brand consistency.
- Test campaigns before launch to confirm that content displays correctly and all links function properly.
- Coordinate campaign updates, approvals, and deliverables across Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, Loyalty, Analytics, and Technology teams.
- Support audience segmentation, customer journeys, triggered communications, and personalization initiatives.
- Monitor basic campaign performance, including engagement, traffic, conversions, subscriber growth, and opt-out activity.
- Compile campaign results and assist with recurring marketing reports.
- Track campaign tests and document opportunities to improve customer engagement and performance.
- Help troubleshoot campaign issues and communicate updates to the appropriate partners.
- Provide general administrative and project coordination support to the digital marketing team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
- Internship, academic, or early-career experience in marketing, retail, e-commerce, communications, or project coordination.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related business applications.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, marketing calendars, and project-tracking tools.
- Interest in email marketing, customer engagement, personalization, CRM, or marketing technology.
- Exposure to email marketing platforms, content management systems, analytics tools, or project management software is helpful but not required.
- Ability to work a designated hybrid schedule in Charlotte, NC.
