Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently across national freight corridors
• Maintain strict compliance with DOT regulations, HOS requirements, and safety protocols
• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Accurately maintain electronic logs, delivery documentation, and required paperwork
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding load status, delays, or issues
• Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers
• Manage fuel efficiency and route optimization to maximize profitability
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct as a representative of our network
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight while adhering to appointment schedules
• Handle load securement according to cargo type and DOT requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years experience preferred)
• Current DOT medical certificate and ability to pass drug screening
• Comprehensive commercial vehicle insurance coverage
• Late model, DOT-compliant tractor and trailer equipment
• Electronic Logging Device (ELD) installed and operational
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Basic computer skills for load management and documentation
• Reliable smartphone for communication and load tracking
• Financial stability to manage business expenses and cash flow

Business Structure

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, meaning you operate as your own business entity. You will be responsible for managing all business expenses including fuel, maintenance, insurance, and taxes. We provide access to our freight network, competitive rates, and support services, while you maintain complete control over your schedule and load selection.
