Job Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Oyster Shucker to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for expertly shucking oysters, providing great customer service, and helping with general food prep as needed. Key Responsibilities:
- Shuck oysters quickly, safely, and consistently to order
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers at the raw bar or counter
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shucking station
- Assist with general kitchen prep and cleaning tasks as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience shucking oysters preferred, but willing to train the right person
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen or service area
- Comfortable interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks
