Focused Staffing Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Physical Education Teacher to serve students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. This role is ideal for an educator who brings creativity, strong classroom presence, and a passion for wellness to a diverse, multiage learning environment. Primary Responsibilities
Create, implement, and evaluate engaging, developmentally appropriate physical education curriculum for students in grades K-2
Design lessons that promote physical fitness, coordination, teamwork, and healthy habits
Oversee, organize, and maintain all physical education materials, supplies, and equipment
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages student participation and confidence
Adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners with varying abilities and learning styles
Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall school community
Qualifications
Dynamic, motivated educator with a foundation in kinesiology or a related field
Experience teaching in a constructivist, multiage learning environment serving diverse student populations
Strong ability to engage students with a variety of learning styles and physical abilities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated ability to use discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information
Current California Teaching Credential in Physical Education is highly desirable
