Salary Range: $45.00 - $52.00 / hour
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday with weekend rotation
Benefits: Eligible for increased pay in lieu of benefits
Experience: Clinical maturity and confidence required; not suitable for new graduates
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at our drug and alcohol hospital. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing quality care to patients with substance abuse disorders and other related conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer various physical therapy techniques and modalities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall function
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises for continued improvement and prevention of further injuries
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all legal and ethical standards
Requirements:
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a drug and alcohol hospital
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Clinical maturity and confidence to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment
We offer a competitive salary, with the opportunity for increased pay in lieu of benefits. This is a full-time position with a 35-hour work week, Monday - Friday with weekend rotation. This position is not suitable for new graduates.
