Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Clemson Downs, SC

Salary Range: $40 - $42.90 per hour

Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday, no weekend rotation

Employment Type: Full-time

Clemson Downs, a premier senior living community, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As an SLP at Clemson Downs, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by providing top-notch speech therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for residents with speech and language disorders

- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing abilities

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic care for residents

- Monitor and document progress of residents and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate residents and their families on strategies for improving communication and maintaining progress

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of resident care plans

- Stay updated on industry developments and incorporate new techniques and technologies into therapy services

Requirements:

- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

- Valid state license to practice as an SLP

- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
