Position: Speech Language Pathologist
Salary Range: $37.1 - $39.57 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday (no weekend rotation)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required, new graduates will not be considered
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. This position requires a strong understanding of various speech and language disorders, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and client goals
- Provide therapy services to clients, including individual and group sessions
- Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and teachers, to provide comprehensive care for clients
- Educate clients and their families on speech and language disorders and strategies for improving communication
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in the field of speech language pathology
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and progress
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license or eligibility for state licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Strong understanding of various speech and language disorders and their treatment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and caseloads
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to use and maintain equipment and materials used in therapy sessions
