About the Role:We are looking for a Part-Time Delivery Driver & Odd Jobs team member to join our family owned electrical contracting company in Peabody, MA! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and being a hands-on contributor to a hardworking team.
This is a non-union position.
Responsibilities:- Safely operate company vehicles to complete local deliveries from supply houses to job sites.
- Load and unload materials, equipment, or products with care and efficiency.
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks and odd jobs as directed by management such as shop organization, basic handyman tasks and cleaning.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of delivery vehicles.
- Follow delivery schedules and confirm accurate drop-offs.
- Support team members with general labor, errands, and on-site tasks.
Requirements:- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and been licensed for a minimum of 6 years.
- Pass a background check.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Have knowledge of and be able to navigate the Greater Boston area.
- Manage time appropriately, adhere to schedules, and watch for updates.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift and carry heavy items (50+ lbs.)
- Comfortable performing a variety of physical, hands-on tasks and have basic handyman skills.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Be friendly and respectful to all clients, team, and vendors.
- Have a phone that can receive texts.
- Prior delivery or general labor experience is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; we are not able to sponsor.
