Part-Time Telepsychiatrist - Residential Adolescent Behavioral Health (North Carolina)

MindCare Solutions is seeking a compassionate and experienced Telepsychiatrist to provide psychiatric services for two residential treatment homes serving adolescent boys in North Carolina. This flexible supplemental opportunity requires approximately 2-4 hours per week and supports a total census of 8 residents (4 per home).

The ideal candidate will have experience working with adolescent behavioral health populations and be comfortable collaborating with residential treatment teams to provide high-quality psychiatric care through telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
• Provide medication management and monitoring
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and discharge planning
• Communicate with families regarding medication changes and treatment recommendations
• Complete peer-to-peer reviews as needed
• Provide care coordination and consultation support to residential staff and treatment teams
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation within the EHR, completed within 24 hours of service

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
• Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license
• DEA registration
• Experience treating children and adolescents with behavioral health conditions
• Comfortable providing services via telehealth
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Schedule

• Approximately 2-4 hours per week
