Job Purpose: To perform loading / unloading of RJW trucks and outside carriers. Ensure all shipments are properly stored in the warehouse. Pick orders from warehouse inventory as directed by customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage and distribute work assignments to pickers, ensuring orders are processed in alignment with sail dates and shipping schedules. Monitor and verify QC operations, ensuring all loads are reviewed and completed on time.Identify, document, and report damages to Inventory Control for timely resolution. Track and follow up on pending orders, proactively addressing any delays. Monitor workflow and adjust labor allocation to optimize efficiency. Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments to maintain smooth warehouse operations. Troubleshoot system-related issues and submit IT/MIS tickets as necessary. Prepare for the next shift by printing order summaries and organizing workflow assignments. Accurately input order data into the Synapse system, ensuring correct spots and weights are recorded. Generate and submit shift reports, detailing operational progress and any outstanding issues. Support cross-functional initiatives by assisting in related outbound tasks as required.
