P2 Operator (Production Level 2)-Machine Operator

Job Title: P2 Operator-Machine Operator 
Location: Jasper, GA 30143
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Job Type:  Temp-to-Hire, Full-Time
Shift: 2nd | Mon-Fri | 4:30pm-3:00am

P2 Operator description:

Key Responsibilities

•    Operate fabrication equipment such as: 

o    Press brake 

o    Turret punch 

o    Shear 

•    Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings 

•    Set up machines and adjust settings to meet specifications 

•    Measure materials using tape measures, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy 

•    Fabricate metal components including panels, brackets, frames, and fixture parts 

•    Perform basic troubleshooting and minor equipment adjustments 

•    Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and tolerance standards 

•    Maintain production flow to meet daily output goals 

•    Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements 

•    Assist with material handling, staging, and movement between departments 

•    Collaborate with welding, assembly, and finishing teams

Requirements

•    High school diploma or GED preferred 

•    1–3+ years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing preferred

•    Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions 

•    Strong attention to detail and quality control 

•    Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability 

•    Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for long periods
