Job Description:
Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards. Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives. Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project. Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers. Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion. Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Receive Technical requirements from capability experts and validate readiness for execution
Identify missing information or ambiguities and coordinate Clarification with technical stakeholders
partner with facility project management teams to develop statements of work ensure facility support projects align with technical requirements and timelines
manage execution of supporting projects from initiation through completion
track and report project financials including EAC/ETC for capital and expense funding
provide financial projections and updates to funding managers
maintain dashboards and project reporting artifacts
communicate schedule updates to scheduling teams
facilitate stakeholder and project coordination meetings
maintain traceability between received requirements and facility project deliverables
monitor risks, dependencies and execution gaps
ensure accountability for action items and milestone commitments
maintain structured documentation and decision records
Required Qualifications:
-2 plus years of project management experience supporting technical or facility projects
- demonstrated ability to manage execution of complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
- strong analytical and organizational skills
- proven ability to manage and synthesize technical information
- exceptional listening skills and ability to ask precise clarifying questions
- experience coordinating with engineering facilities or infrastructure teams
- financial tracking experience (EAC/ETC, expense, capital)
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder communication skills
- excellent time management and independent work discipline
- ability to take direction and execute without overstepping technical authority
- high attention to detail and strong follow-through
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting technical capability stand up or facility infrastructure projects
familiarity with statement of work development processes
experience with Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft project or similar tools
Background working in highly technical or regulated environments
Experience or education in project management (formal Project Management education, Boeing classes, PMP Prep, or PMP Certification)
Must be U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
