Job Summary

Salary Range: $20.00 to $23.00 Per Hour dependent upon education, experience, and working shift.

This position offers floor support to the Manufacturing Team. This is a position that requires the individual to demonstrate a high degree of mechanical aptitude and to be able to quickly master various workstations and assembly techniques. A qualified candidate should have extensive prior experience in the medical device industry (or similar) and be able to perform all tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

1.Provides resources to assemble, test, and packaging support for various Medical Device Manufacturing Production Lines.

2. Takes a leading role in ensuring product quality in the manufacturing process.

3. Performs advanced electro-mechanical assembly and quality control inspections. These functions are to be performed in a timely manner to meet quality and productivity goals of the department.

4. Utilizes advanced manufacturing equipment and techniques when necessary.

5. Works closely with engineering to improve documentation and process flows.

6. Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established procedures.

7. Identify product defects and effectively document the defect when identified.

8. Takes a leading role in training and teaching new operators.

9. Works closely with manufacturing technicians to identify and correct manufacturing defects and error codes.

10. Clearly and concisely completes quality documentation as required.

11. Other duties as assigned.

All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience in Medical Device or closely related field
  • Demonstrated ability to master multiple workstations across both assembly and test production lines
  • Advanced reading, writing, and communication skills
  • Advanced computer navigation skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to read drawings and schematics as necessary
  • Proven sound judgment, values driven, continuous innovation and improvement and adaptability skills.
