    Physician Assistant (PA) – Family MedicineLocation: 633rd Medical Group (MDG), Langley Air Force Base – Hampton, VAMDPerm is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant (PA) in Family Medicine to support the 633rd Medical Group at Langley AFB. This is a mission-essential personal services contract that provides direct patient care in a military treatment facility (MTF) environment.

    OverviewThe Physician Assistant provides comprehensive primary care services in a Family Health setting, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to active duty service members and beneficiaries. This role operates within a collaborative, multidisciplinary military healthcare team and supports readiness and clinical operations.Duties / Key Responsibilities
    • Provide comprehensive primary care services including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
    • Perform patient histories, physical exams, and develop treatment plans
    • Manage patient panels within a Family Medicine clinic setting
    • Document all patient encounters in MHS GENESIS or other military EMR systems
    • Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and lab results
    • Provide preventive care, health maintenance, and patient education
    • Respond to urgent/emergent situations and stabilize patients as needed
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate care
    • Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and performance improvement initiatives
    • Maintain productivity comparable to other providers in similar roles
    Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (ARC-PA)
    • Current, unrestricted PA license in any U.S. state
    • Board-certified by NCCPA
    • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Family Medicine or Primary Care preferred
    • Current BLS certification required
    • ACLS required (or must obtain within 3 months of start)
    Schedule & Work Hours
    • Full-Time
    • Monday–Friday, 40 hrs per week
