PA/NP Opportunity - Making up to $150k plus Bonus

Title:
APRN (NP/PA) – Inpatient Child & Adolescent Float | 40 hrs/week | Mansfield Center, CT

Overview:
We’re hiring an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/APP) to support an inpatient Child & Adolescent behavioral health program in Mansfield Center, CT. This is a 40-hour/week position providing direct clinical care as part of a multidisciplinary inpatient team in a float capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient psychiatric/behavioral health medical management for child and adolescent patients.
• Complete psychiatric assessments, daily follow-ups, medication management, and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with psychiatry, nursing, therapy, social work, and milieu staff.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, orders, and discharge planning in the EMR per policy.
• Support coverage needs across the child/adolescent inpatient service as a float provider.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Inpatient setting (Child/Adolescent)
• Exact shift pattern to be confirmed (days/evenings/weekends depending on coverage model)

Required Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut APRN license (or ability to obtain); PMHNP preferred.
• If applicable to the client’s model: PA candidates with relevant inpatient psych/behavioral health experience may be considered.
• Experience in behavioral health, with child/adolescent experience strongly preferred.
• DEA (or ability to obtain) and prescriptive authority per CT requirements.
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork orientation, and comfort in an acute inpatient environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMHNP with child/adolescent inpatient experience
• Prior float/coverage experience in inpatient settings
• Comfort managing complex presentations and coordinating with families/guardians
