PA Or NP (Rnfa), Gynecologic Oncology Surgery (Full-Time)

Position Summary

MemorialCare Medical Group seeks a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their Gynecologic Oncology team. The ideal candidate is passionate about women's health, caring for women with cancer in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Duties will include surgical first assist, inpatient rounds and outpatient clinic. Experience strongly preferred but not required, the selected candidate will work closely and collaboratively with our Gynecologic Oncologist with opportunity to develop his/her own patient panel as well.

Practice Information

• Selected PA/NP must have reliable transportation to travel between our sites located in/around Fountain Valley, Irvine, and Laguna Hills. The Gynecologic Oncologist performs surgeries at Orange Coast Medical Center (Fountain Valley) and Saddleback Medical Center (Laguna Hills).
• Full-time, salaried/exempt (Monday through Friday schedule)

Education & Licensure

• Current and unrestricted license from the California Physician Assistant board
• Must have completed an accredited PA or NP program
• NPs, in order to be considered, you must have successfully graduated from a CAAHEP-approved surgical first assisting program (i.e., RNFA)
• Nationally certified in related specialty
• Current BLS/ACLS and DEA
