Position Details

• Schedule:
  • Shifts available:
    • Weekdays: 7:00 AM3:00 PM, 7:00 AM5:00 PM, or 11:00 AM7:00 PM
    • Weekends: 7:00 AM3:00 PM
  • Rotation: 1 week on / 1 week off
• Setting: Inpatient, no clinic responsibilities
• Call Requirements:
  • In-house, assisting with ED on-call coverage and surgical support
  • Response time: 30 minutes

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with emergency and urgent cases.
• Support post-operative consultations as needed.
• Be the first point of contact for urgent surgical cases, ensuring smooth workflows for the surgical team.

Requirements

• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
• Must be board-certified as a Physician Assistant in General Surgery.
• License: Oregon licensure required.
• Acute care surgery experience strongly preferred.

• EMR System: Epic
• No supervision of other advanced practice providers is required.
• Temporary hospital privileges are not available.
