Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Enrollment Manager the Business Development Supervisor is responsible for direct oversight of the PACE Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly recruitment & marketing efforts while ensuring that budgeted goals are met. In addition this position will be responsible for development and implementation of marketing and outreach activities to promote and maximize awareness of PACE within the community.
Essential Functions of the Job
Supervises the PACE business development team and assists in streamlining the marketing processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
Efficiently tracks and gauges performance of marketing staff via PACE CRM and EHR as needed. Provides performance reports regularly throughout the month to the Senior Enrollment Manager.
Assists in the design and development of sales and marketing material coordinating with other departments such as External Affairs while taking the lead in marketing and social media projects such as website development.
Assists in the development and maintenance of reports to assess and analyze marketing and outreach activities for the purpose of maximizing awareness recruitment and meetingexceeding enrollment goals
Assists in the development of an annual PACE marketing plan and oversees the implementation and maintenance of a PACE marketing plan.
Develop and maintain relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders to include but not limited to physicians care coordinators social workers as well as long-term care facilities housing developers hospitals and related organizations.
Works with PACE staff and key SYHealth departments to ensure positive experience for potential enrolleescandidates enrolled participants and their families.
Assists in convening community stakeholder advisory bodies to solicit input on PACE development.
Assists in the process for procurement printing proofing and inventory control.
Ensures compliance with all applicable CMS Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and California Department of Health Care Services DHCS andor Department of Managed Health Care DMHC sales and marketing policies rules and regulations.
Assists in the development of policies procedures and standards for all recruitment activities and member processes.
Maintains a safe secure and legal work environment and ensures development of personal growth opportunities.
Communicates job expectations with employees to achieve results supervises employee performance through coaching counseling and disciplining develops and enforces policies and procedures productivity and quality standards prepares work schedules and ensures employees have necessary resources to succeed.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
Participates in the strategic planning and development for PACE.
Performs other duties as assigned
Adheres and ensures compliance with PACE Marketing rules and regulations
Adheres to SYHealths and departments attendance and punctuality policies and practices.
Must take and pass the State of California DHCS PACE and Medi-Cal Marketing Certification exam within 90 days of hire.

Experience Required
Minimum level of experience Minimum of 2 years outreach and marketing experience in senior care health care or related field 3 years supervisorymanagement experience Knowledge of andor experience with HMO Medi-CalMedicaid Medicare and senior care related sales and marketing experience
Experience Preferred
Knowledge of PACE marketing regulations state and federal General salesmarketing experience Knowledge andor experience with the senior care market including competitors regulations and available resources Systems and procedures to efficiently track and trend all sales activity Techniques and methods to organize and manage a department Principles and practices of health care service delivery managed care health care systems and medical administration Appropriate sales and marketing techniques to outreach to diverse social and ethnic groups and to communicate effectively with them Principles and techniques of effective supervision including training and evaluation of subordinates
Education Required
Minimum level of education Minimum High School diploma GED or relevant experience.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Spanish preferred.

Must possess the skills necessary to provide care for geriatric patients must thrive in team environments and must possess good organizational skills and ability to effectively handle difficult and unusual interpersonal situations. Meet a standardized set of competencies for the specific position description established by SYHC PACE and approved by CMS.
