Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL Development, Software Development, and SQL Performance Tuning, along with the ability to design, develop, optimize, and support enterprise applications.

Rate Range: $58/hour to $61/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer Job Responsibilities Include:

• Design, develop, configure, and enhance enterprise applications to support business processes, operational requirements, and technology initiatives.

• Develop complex Oracle PL/SQL solutions, database objects, stored procedures, packages, functions, and queries that support application functionality and performance.

• Analyze business requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions that align with organizational objectives.

• Perform SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and database analysis activities to improve application efficiency, scalability, and system responsiveness.

• Support application integration, build management, release management, testing activities, and production deployments while ensuring adherence to development standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• A minimum of eight years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL Development, Software Development, and enterprise application support environments.

• Strong expertise developing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle database solutions, including complex PL/SQL programming and performance tuning initiatives.

• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise applications that support critical business functions and operational workflows.

• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, coding standards, application design principles, and release management processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting Build Management, Configuration Management, Release Management, and Design & Build Enablement activities in enterprise environments.

• Familiarity with application integration architectures, enterprise databases, and large-scale transactional systems.

• Experience participating in code reviews, mentoring development teams, and promoting software development best practices.

• Knowledge of application performance optimization techniques, database scalability practices, and enterprise system architecture concepts.

• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or other modern software development frameworks.

Pay Details: $58.00 to $61.00 per hour
