Location: Memphis, TN
Pay: $20.85–$21.05/hour
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 PM–5:30 AM
Duration: 5-month contract with potential for extension
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Packager to join a clean room manufacturing team producing high-quality medical device products. This role is responsible for assembling and packaging pre-sterile products, maintaining inventory, and ensuring all work meets strict quality and compliance standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, follows detailed procedures, and works well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, package, and inspect products according to production schedules.
- Build pre-sterile inventory for sterilization and demonstration purposes.
- Operate production equipment safely and according to established procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area.
- Ensure materials, labels, and products are properly controlled and documented.
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
- Follow all company quality, safety, and compliance policies.
- Collaborate with production, materials, and receiving teams to maintain workflow.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and product quality.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workstations throughout each shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous clean room and/or medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive lifting throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Team-oriented with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
