Now Hiring: Packaging Assistant Steel Manufacturing Location: Twinsburg, OH
 Shift:6:00 am- 2:00pm
 Pay: $18.00 per hour

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Packaging Assistant to join our growing steel manufacturing team.In this role, you will package finished steel products, prepare orders for shipment, and ensure all materials meet quality standards. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.  Responsibilities:
  • Package finished steel parts according to customer specifications and company standards.
  • Assist the line operator. 
  • You will eventually be taught to be able to read micrometer, calipers and tape measure.
  • Count, inspect, and verify products for quality and accuracy before packaging.
  • Band, wrap, label, and palletize finished materials for shipment.
  • Read work orders and packaging instructions to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Inspect products for defects, damage, or non-conforming material.
Qualifications:
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a steel, metal stamping, machining, or fabrication environment is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic math and measuring skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
