SUMMARY

Responsibilities are to package products per written specifications and/or verbal instructions.

Under supervision, performs limited or routine tasks as needed to package meters, strips, or any other item as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include thefollowing. Other duties may be assigned.
• Follows verbal and written instructions provided by the line inspector, group leader, and packaging supervisor for packaging
• Performs packaging duties using packaging equipment or manually
• Follows written instructions to complete tasks from beginning of packaging, completing work orders, work instructions, and related procedures
• Performs simple mathematical calculations required to assist in completion of packaging order
• Meets schedule deadlines and performance standards
• Performs routine cleaning of packaging equipment/area
• Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations
• Performs related duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Preferred: High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

Desired: Minimum of 6 months working in a manufacturing environment

Considered: No previous experience in a manufacturing facility

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and

differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to write and speak simple sentences.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic mathematical calculations

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or

diagram form.
