Packaging Associate (2nd Shift)

Job Title: Packaging Associate
Location: Camarillo, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: 2nd Shift (Hours may vary)
Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour (DOE)

Job Summary

The Packaging Associate is responsible for supporting packaging line operations and performing general warehouse duties in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment. This role ensures product quality, efficiency, and adherence to company and cGMP standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow cGMP guidelines including housekeeping, product protection, and personal hygiene
• Read and follow written instructions and SOPs
• Remove finished products from conveyor lines and package per specifications
• Palletize finished goods
• Load empty containers onto equipment (unscrambler or infeed turntable)
• Supply packaging materials to the production line
• Clear leftover components from packaging equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of work area (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping)
• Clean windows, carts, and equipment as required
• Assist Quality Control with batch release processes
• Verify lot numbers and expiration dates with QC team
• Break down boxes and manage disposal
• Support other departments as needed
• Perform additional packaging-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Entry-level to intermediate experience (training provided)
• Ability to read and follow instructions and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
• Good attendance and reliability required

Equipment Used

• Pallet jacks
• Carts
• Packaging line equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
• Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and pulling
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods
• Ability to meet production pace (25–40 bottles per minute)
• Comfortable wearing a full-face respirator when required
