Packaging Associates – Immediate Openings

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM OR 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Location: Charlotte, NC

Nesco Resource is hiring multiple Packaging Associates for a large manufacturing facility in Huntersville. We have immediate openings on both day and night rotating shifts.

If you are dependable, comfortable working a 12-hour rotating schedule, and looking for steady work with the opportunity to become a permanent employee, we want to speak with you.

What You'll Do

You will work on the production floor packaging plasticware. This is an active position that requires standing and bending throughout your shift.

What We Offer

• $18.00/hour starting pay
• 12-hour shifts
• Day shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Rotating work schedule
• 30-minute paid lunch
• Two paid breaks
• PPE provided, except steel-toe shoes
• Up to a one-year contract opportunity
• Potential opportunity for permanent hire
• Permanent-hire pay is currently $19.50/hour if offered a position by the client

Important Work Environment Information

This facility is NOT climate controlled. Fans and water are provided on the production floor. Employees must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and wearing required PPE, including a hair net, ear plugs, safety hat and vest. Steel-toe shoes are required.

• Available to begin work immediately

Attendance is extremely important. New employees cannot miss work during their first two weeks. Candidates who already have planned time off during their first 90 days should discuss it with Nesco before accepting the position.
