Packaging Associate

Job SummaryThe Packaging Associate is responsible for supporting packaging line operations and performing general warehouse duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role helps ensure product quality, efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to company procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow company guidelines for housekeeping, product protection, and personal hygiene
• Read and follow written instructions and standard operating procedures
• Remove finished products from conveyor lines and package according to specifications
• Palletize finished goods
• Load empty containers onto equipment, including unscramblers and infeed turntables
• Supply packaging materials to the production line
• Clear leftover components from packaging equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop as needed
• Clean windows, carts, and equipment
• Assist Quality Control with batch release processes
• Verify lot numbers and expiration dates with the QC team
• Break down boxes and properly manage disposal
• Assist other departments as needed
• Perform additional packaging-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Entry-level to intermediate experience; training provided
• Ability to read and follow instructions and procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment

Equipment Used

• Pallet jacks
• Carts
• Packaging line equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and pulling
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to maintain the required production pace of approximately 25–40 bottles per minute
• Comfortable wearing a full-face respirator when required
