Packaging Associate

Job Description

Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking a Packaging Associate in our Laconia, NH location.

Primary Function:

Ensures parts are packed according to packing instructions, as well as counted accurately and protected against damage during shipment.

Essential Functions:

• Box and package parts to customer specifications.
• Crate, mask, as well as package parts.
• Follow the shipping lead person's directions during the course of the day.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May cross train to other jobs as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Works on assignments that are routine/semi routine in nature.
• Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions and notes for specific packaging.
• Ability to communicate issues to Lead and/or Supervisor.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
• All positions require use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms regulations. All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience a plus.
