Title: Packaging Associate
Location: Saint Joseph, MO 64507
Duration: 0-3+ Months
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour on W2
Shift: 1st Shift 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Title: Packaging Associate

Key Responsibilities
- Manually erect cases, pack products, and stack finished cases on pallets.
- Operate and monitor production lines to ensure smooth and continuous operation.
- Handle production components and ensure the correct materials are used.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse/production equipment safely.
- Verify product components, coding, and labels against the current production recipe.
- Monitor product quality and report damaged or out-of-spec products to Quality Control.
- Perform continuous cleaning and line adjustments to maintain efficient production.
- Recommend maintenance, repairs, or process changes when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by removing clutter and debris.
- Follow all required PPE and safety procedures.
- Maintain warehouse/production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Communicate production issues and concerns to the Plant Manager or appropriate personnel.
- Maintain dependable attendance and report to work on time.
- Perform additional production and operational duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
- Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to read and understand production documents, SDS, and safety information.
- Previous production or mechanical experience is preferred/helpful.
- Workers must provide their own steel-toe/composite-toe safety boots or shoes.
- Lift 40–60 lbs, approximately 20–30 times per hour.
- Stand and work on feet for 8–9 hours per day.
- Perform frequent bending throughout the shift.
- Minimal climbing may be required.
- Work in temperatures between 70–90°F.
- Work in an environment with minimal dust and good lighting.
- Steel-toe or composite-toe safety boots/shoes are required.
- Safety glasses must be worn at all times.
- Gloves are required when formulating active materials.
- Gloves are required as needed for material handling.
- Hearing protection must be used when required by operating equipment.
- Client provides gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
