1st Shift 6:00 AM- 6:00 PM
3rd Shift: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM,
Pay
$18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities- Repetitively lift aluminum extrusions up to 40 feet long and weighing up to 75 pounds from metal basket carriers to the packing conveyor
- Gather all materials needed for framing bundles (tape, stretch wrap, cardboard, paper, banding, etc.)
- Visually inspect metal during bundling for defects such as burrs, scratches, chips, gouges, dents, bubbles, or die lines, ensuring all pieces meet or exceed customer specifications
- Assemble bundles per foremans instructions, using appropriate packing materials
- Assist or operate the cut-back saw station and act as saw helper at the press
- Lift metal from racks and return it after cutting
- Record daily piece counts or weight counts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including housekeeping of the shipping area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Nice to Have Skills- Experience working in manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Familiarity with safety procedures and equipment
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
