The Packaging Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate packaging machinery safely and efficiently in compliance with GMPs, safety, and quality standards
• Inspect products throughout the packaging process to ensure quality and defect-free output
• Maintain continuous machine operation by monitoring codes, dates, and equipment performance
• Perform minor machine adjustments and repairs using appropriate hand and bench tools
• Accurately complete production documentation, reports, and shift records
• Communicate effectively with team members and oncoming shifts to ensure smooth transitions

Key Tasks and Duties:

• Feed raw materials into packaging machines and verify correct product configurations
• Conduct routine quality checks and make necessary equipment or process adjustments
• Monitor and adjust machine controls related to vacuum, heat, pressure, timing, and water flow
• Track raw material inventory levels and notify the warehouse of shortages or issues
• Maintain detailed production data, including shift reports and system entries
• Support team objectives by performing additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader

Qualifications:

• 1 2 years of experience as a Packaging Machine Operator (PMO) or in a similar manufacturing role
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately
• Enjoys hands-on, active work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision
• Motivated to gain valuable experience and advance within a manufacturing career
• Able to follow procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards consistently
