Packaging Clerk - TEMP

Job Summary The Packaging Clerk is responsible for accurately and efficiently labeling packing and palletizing items from the assembly area.

Essential Job Functions Packages and loads production items on shipping pallets. Performs quality checks throughout the packing process. Creates standard and custom crating. Receives orders into inventory. Processes items into inventory. Orders and restocks boxes. Performs other 5S duties. Complies with all safety policies practices and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health and Environmental Safety team member. Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. 1-3 months experience in related field preferred.
2. Ability to operate Scales, Tiger Saw, Computers, Hoists, Printers, Scissor lifts, Hand trucks, Wrap Machines, Forklift, Standing Lift, WAV work assistance vehicle, and Pallet Jack.
3. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
4. Must have basic mathematical, computer, and technological skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Must pass background check and drug screen.

Education High School Diploma or equivalent required

Work Environment Warehouse PPE required

Physical Requirements Continuous walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending. Repetitive use of hands. Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 75 lbs.
