    #Tech-Pro-Admin-01

    Job Summary

Our primary goal is to save more lives. Our products never get a second chance, which is why we can never compromise on quality. We are committed to increasing vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags, and steering wheels. In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's new business quoting process by developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for returnable and expendable packaging solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and manage cost budgets for packaging materials for new project launches.
    • Maintain cost models to support new business quotations.
    • Forecast future costs based on historical data, trends, and market conditions.
    • Build cost models (bottom-up, top-down, activity-based, etc.).
    • Provide cost-benefit analyses for proposed changes.
    • Work closely with the Sales and New Program Launch teams to ensure all packaging cost assumptions are fully understood, validated, and incorporated into customer quotes and program financials.
    • Audit actual costs to identify and address deficiencies for continual improvement in cost estimation.
    • Coordinate maintenance, controls, and vendors; manage fleet size strategies for packaging assets.
    • Coordinate integrator/3PL for kitting and site delivery.
    • Plan and execute container availability for new launches and serial production.
    • Design loop strategy and right-size the pool by lane (model cycle times, turns, seasonality, surge).
    • Maintain container master/PFEP (IDs, specs, owners, lanes, MOQ, lead-times); control changes and revisions.
    • Manage budget for builds, redeployments, repairs, and losses; create ROIs for conversions and location adds; support sourcing/negotiations.
    • Plan launches/ECNs: phase-in/out plans, readiness at suppliers/plants, ramp-to-rate container availability.
    • Bridge design, cost, and customer validation, ensuring alignment with budget targets.
    • Manage customer reimbursement activity for out-of-scope packaging usage.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
    • 6 years of related experience.
    • Advanced MS Excel usage.
    • Familiarity with database and analytical tools.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to drive projects to schedule/budget.
    • Clear communicator with suppliers, plants, logistics, and design; structured problem-solving skills.
    • Travel readiness (5–20%).
    • Spanish/English bilingual a plus for US/MX lanes.
