Duration: 6 Months+Location: El Segundo, CAPay Rate: $40.44/hr on W2

Job Description

We are seeking a Packaging Engineer to support a consumer products packaging engineering team. This role provides hands-on exposure to packaging development, testing, data management, and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Support packaging development, testing, and evaluation of new materials and components.
• Prepare and coordinate test requests and review test reports.
• Maintain and organize project documentation, data, and files.
• Perform data cleanup and ensure accurate project information in relevant systems.
• Coordinate requests for technical and packaging data.
• Support sustainability initiatives, including sustainable materials and recyclability assessments.
• Collect and organize sustainability-related project data.
• Track project action items and follow up with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations teams.
• Support packaging projects from concept through implementation and launch.
• Assist with general project coordination, data gathering, and follow-up activities.

Requirements

We are looking for a curious, organized, and detail-oriented candidate who is eager to learn and work in a fast-paced packaging environment.

Required:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Packaging, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience.
• Business-level English communication skills.
