About the Role

You'll design and optimize the packaging that protects our fiber optic products on their journey across the globe. Working in SolidWorks and partnering with suppliers and internal teams, you'll find smarter, more cost-effective ways to ship from overseas without ever compromising product integrity. Your work has a direct impact on our freight costs and the experience our customers get on delivery.

  • Design and develop packaging solutions in SolidWorks, including CAD drawings and specifications
  • Evaluate current packaging methods and identify opportunities for cost-saving improvements
  • Partner with suppliers and internal teams to optimize packaging for overseas shipping
  • Conduct material testing to ensure packaging durability and compliance with shipping standards
  • Monitor and analyze freight costs and implement strategies that reduce expenses

What You'll Bring

  • Have a bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Are proficient in SolidWorks for packaging design
  • Have experience with packaging materials and freight optimization
  • Bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams

Schedule: Mon–Fri | Onsite

Compensation: $65,000 to $85,000 base, plus annual bonus
