Benefit Spotlight: At Ken's Foods, we manufacture Ken's Salad dressing & Sweet Baby Ray's barbeque sauce. The process from following the recipe, creating the products using established specificationsand quality processes, packaging into retail and food service containers, and shipping the product to our customers is all handled under our roof. Our General Labor positions start at $18.00, and $1.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts, and we are paid weekly. The General Laborer will assist in various physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. The role requires the ability to work efficiently and safely. They will assist the designated machine operator or production team in a variety of functions including but not limited to cup loading, case making, manual case-packing, palletizing of product, banding and wrapping of pallets, cleaning and other tasks as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
Language Skills: Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
